About:
Our mission is to redefine Tennessee vineyards and winemaking and to grow the highest quality vinifera wine grapes in the state. We also have a passion for sharing our knowledge with those interested in learning more about the winemaking process.
We began operations in July of 2015 and are working to expand our current wine selections. We currently grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sangiovese, Stuben, and two varietals of Muscadine. We will be expanding our vinifera selections to include Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and more. We also have Blueberries, Blackberries, and Japanese Wineberries which we also incorporate into our wine selections.

Wine Folly used at the Winery!!!
Wine 1: Chardonnay
Winery Description:
Fermented in stainless and aged in Appalachian Oak Barrels of various ages and then blended to soften the oak. This is a very nice Chardonnay that will continue to age well. It has notes of oak, a hint of butter, hard Christmas candy and a hint of peppermint on the finish.
My Review:
This wine was a dry wine and I was a a bit apprehensive to try because I am more of a sweet white wine drinker. But, first I smelled the wine and it smelled dry but surprisingly sweet. When I tasted the wine, it tasted dry but then the after taste was much sweeter than I thought.
Wine 2: Appalachian Spring
Bottle Price: $22.00
Winery Description:
Our very first sparkling wine. It is made from 2018 Sangiovese. Very Dry!!! Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
My Review:
As the lady was pouring the wine, she said it was very dry. When I smelled the wine it smelled sweet but not very strong in flavor. It smelled more bitter after getting a second sniff. As I tasted the wine, it tasted very dry just like the lady described it and it didn't really have an after taste. The taste was super sharp, acidic, and a bit bitter when tasting it.
Wine 3: Appalachian Rose
Bottle Price: $15.00
Winery Description:
Made from Sangiovese. Aged in stainless, this wine just happened or made itself. It is actually a rose’ light crisp and semi-sweet. It is nice for sipping alone, but pairs well with pork, ham or turkey. This wine is great for your Thanksgiving meal or your Christmas or Easter Meal.
My Review:
So the lady said as she was pouring our glasses that it is made from the same grape as the Appalachian Spring. As I was tasting this wine, I was comparing it to the Appalachian Spring and it smelled sweeter than the Spring. It tasted like mango and honey and had a citrus taste to it. The wine had a great aftertaste and had a semi-sweet taste and medium body.
Wine 4: Magnolia
Bottle Price: $15.00
Winery Description:
A favorite in the south, made from Magnolia muscadine fruit. Estate grown and bottled. Fermented on the skins adding complexity and body to the experience. Sweetened only to 5%.
My Review:
This was the last wine I tried. The lady described this as a favorite for a lot of people and it is a sweeter wine. This is the wine I typically like. The lady also described it as muskier and as I smelled it it smelled very sweet. As I tasted it, I tasted notes of honey and sweetness.
SO which wine did I choose!? I chose the Magnolia wine for the glass I chose after the wine tasting! It was so good and I of course had to get a Tennessee traditional wine! The musky flavor combined with the notes of honey and citrus made it a perfect wine for me to choose since I like sweeter wines.
