 Page 27: Color of Wine

This wine is one of your typical red wines in terms of flavor. The color though was unique and I compared the color of this wine to the colors on page 27.  So, I did some research on what the color of the wine means. The wine based on the pictures looks like a Deep Garnet. I used the chart to help identify the hue and intensity in the wine I tasted.

As I smelled the wine, I smelled the full body flavor of the wine. When I tasted the wine it was very smooth. It also had a bit a fruit taste and soft tannins. I paired this wine with a steak, lobster mac and cheese, mushrooms, and brussel sprouts. It made the wine taste even better the pairing was immaculate. I don't normally like red wines but this was the perfect wine to pair with a steak.
